FAO dpl (re yesterday's thread about news sources, the Guardian etc)

Late yesterday evening, I received an email from The Guardian as follows;
"Dear Mark,
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued generosity. Your support makes everything we do possible.
We are writing to let you know that we are increasing the price of your All-access digital subscription. While price changes are rarely welcome, we remain in a challenging era for the news industry and we want to be transparent about why we are doing this now. The cost of producing good journalism is more expensive than ever, the risks graver and the challenges greater. We hope you understand that we’re doing this to safeguard the future of our newsroom, so we can continue to invest in fearless, award-winning journalism and continue to provide you with the best possible experience.
Your new price will be £14 - monthly, which will take effect at your next payment date, on or around 3 September 2026".
Up by about 17%! Thought you might wish to be aware of the increase.
