Just saw McAteer on an Under The Cosh podcast & it reminded me about a night game at Blackburn when he played for them.
He took a throw in near the away section & a voice boomed out “Knobbbbbbbheaaaaad”
People laughed
About 10 minutes later he took another throw in
“Knobbbbbbheaaaaaad” boomed out again.
More laughs than the first time
He took a third throw
Who ever it was got as far as “knobbbb…..” before McAteer completely lost it & stated waving his arms & swearing
Perfect, everyone laughing now.
I just wish it was me that had been shouting
